Ingredients for Making Margherita Pizza
For the dough
1 1/2 cups
whole wheat flour
1 tsp active
dry yeast
1/2 cup warm
water
1 tbsp olive
oil
1/2 tsp salt
For the toppings
3 ripe
tomatoes, thinly sliced
1/2 cup
fresh mozzarella, sliced

fresh basil leaves
1 tsp extra

How to Prepare the Dough
In a bowl,
mix the yeast and warm water. After five minutes, it should appear fluffy. Add
the olive oil, salt, and whole wheat flour and stir. Stir to form a dough.
Cover with flour and knead for approximately five minutes, or until smooth.
Press it down, cover, and place it in a warm location to double in size or rise
again for another half hour.

slide pizza onto preheated stone or sheet.

the pizza in an oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until crust is golden brown
and cheese is bubbling.
Finish with
Basil - When removed from the oven, place fresh basil leaves and a hit of olive
oil for some more flavor twist.
